Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Yikes is right!

It’s cold and frosty this morning and after non-stop post holiday busy-ness, I finally have a day to myself. So, what do I choose to do on a “day off”? Assess my online presence and tidy up that which needs tidying up and enhance that which needs enhancing, of course!! First stop….my Social Media DDS home.

Shame on me for being an absentee owner recently. Yes…I have been THAT derelict in keeping my website up to date. And, here’s the thing…it is so easy to make those updates and it takes almost…no.time. at. all.

So…do as I say and not as I do.

Go to your content management system (CMS) right now and check if there are updates to be made to the system itself as well as to any plugins that you may have installed. Doing this not only makes your CMS user experience better when refreshing your content but it makes your website home that much more searchable.

I feel much better now that I have updated and spruced up. You will too!

@Hajra Hello Hajra! I miss you too! Thank you for stopping by! I have commiserated with @Lori that I keep trying to find the perfect organizational tool to make it easier to schedule my life. OR maybe I should hire a personal assistant ;-) Wouldn't THAT be great?!?!

@SocialMediaDDS Just write! I know its tough. I am still struggling to be regular but I manage to show my face at least once in two weeks!

Aw Claudia, we all need to step away at times, particularly during the holidays and then afterwards when we work out how we're going to navigate our way through a new year!
