But how do I keep my target audience excited?
That is a question that I get asked a lot…and it is often a question that I ask myself on those days when all I hear is the sound of crickets at my place.
When that happens, I dust off the cobwebs in the echo chamber and I create conversation…engagement. It’s not always easy but if you don’t do it, chances are no one is going to get the engagement going for you.
What should I talk about?
Talk about what you are passionate about…your business. Ask questions. Get opinions. Share an interesting and relevant article. Share a crazy fun article. Make a video and post it and ask for comments. Take an unscientific poll. Post pictures of animals. Share music. And, always, keep the conversation going.
No matter how busy Gini is, no matter how intense her travel schedule is, no matter how much work running the hugely successful PR firm Arment Dietrich is, Gini always makes time for engagement. And her dedication to this seemingly simple act has put her and her business on the virtual map. So, get excited.
